The Platform of Independent Spaces for Contemporary Creation was born with the aim of giving a voice to—and making visible—the needs and potential of independent creative spaces, in order to address, organize, and propose all kinds of informative, educational, and activist actions.
Since the 1970s, many independent spaces dedicated to the visual arts have offered regular programming, enriching the scene and contributing autonomy and diversity. The platform is established as a non-profit association that is nonpartisan, pluralistic, inclusive, equitable, and respectful of the opinions of all who form part of it. – Read the full manifesto.
